My DeLonghi toaster oven of over 5 yrs finally decided it does not want to bake or toast for me anymore. I can’t complain because it worked for so long and worked so faithfully. To the credit of DeLonghi I was given a few warning signs that all was not well, a few months earlier, the toaster part of it, quit shutting off when the toast was complete. I did have time to prepare for its fate. I guess a proper disposal was in order but as soon as the Delonghi toaster kicked the bucket I was on the market for a new oven.
My needs when i purchased the DeLonghi compared to now are a little bit different. Now, a bigger oven would be nice along with stainless steel. So off I went to see what was in stores, and what would fit into my budget. I had to ask myself before i jumped head first, what is my toaster used for these days, pizzas, toast, baking, muffins, warming, and even storage at times, so the most important things for me would be size and price.
